Description

The invention is defined in claim 1 and relates to a base frame for a piece of seating furniture, comprising a base part for setting up the base frame on a surface, a seat part connected to the base part in a force-transmitting manner, a back part articulated to the seat part, a foot part articulated to the seat part, and a plurality of linear actuators for electrically adjusting the inclination of the seat part relative to the base part, the inclination of the back part relative to the seat part, and the inclination of the foot part relative to the seat part, wherein the linear actuators are connected to a control unit of the base frame in a signal-transmitting and energy-transmitting manner and to a remainder of the base frame in a force-transmitting manner, and wherein the foot part has several foot part segments and the foot part segments are movably connected to one another in such a way that the foot part segments can be extended by means of at least one of the linear actuators from a storage length of the foot part, in which the foot part segments are folded and/or pushed together along a longitudinal axis of the foot part, into a storage length exceeding the extension length of the foot section, in which the foot section segments are unfolded and/or pushed apart along the longitudinal axis of the foot section, can be moved back and forth, and wherein the base frame has two linear actuators and is designed such that only by means of the two The aforementioned linear actuators enable, on the one hand, a seat depth adjustment for setting a seat depth on the base frame and, on the other hand, a heart-balance adjustment of the base frame. The base frame is designed such that it can be converted, using only the two aforementioned linear actuators, from a seat position of the base frame with a first seat depth and the footrest folded in relative to the seat section and within its stowable length, in a first step to a lounge position of the base frame with a backrest lowered further back and a seat section more inclined relative to the base section compared to the seat position, in a second step to a lounge comfort position of the base frame with a second seat depth greater than in the lounge position with the first seat depth, in a third step to a television position of the base frame with a footrest folded out relative to the seat section and within its extended length compared to the lounge comfort position, and in a fourth step to a zero-gravity position of the base frame with a backrest lowered further back and a seat section more inclined relative to the base section compared to the television position. This allows users of the equipped seating furniture to access essential functions of the furniture and thus of the base frame, for example, using only two linear actuators. Furthermore, this is achieved in a very simple way, both in terms of design and manufacturing. The aforementioned parts of the base frame are connected and movable relative to each other by means of the linear actuators, allowing the base frame to be moved from its seat position to any of the other settings mentioned above without any additional means. This also applies in the reverse direction, i.e., moving the base frame from its zero-gravity position or any of the other aforementioned settings towards the seat position. The aforementioned lounge setting, lounge comfort setting, and television setting are intermediate positions of the base frame, lying between the seat position and the zero-gravity position. Furthermore, the base frame is designed in such a way that the transition of the base frame from its seating position to its lounge position is only possible by means of The first linear actuator of the two aforementioned linear actuators, from its lounge setting to its lounge comfort setting, is controlled solely by a second linear actuator of the two aforementioned linear actuators, from its lounge comfort setting to its television setting solely by the second linear actuator, and from its television setting to its heart-balance setting solely by the first linear actuator, wherein the first linear actuator is arranged to transmit force between a rear crossbar of the seat section and a front crossbar of the seat section, and the second linear actuator is arranged to transmit force between the front crossbar of the seat section and a crossbar of the foot section. In this way, a very efficient and thus advantageous embodiment of the base frame is provided in terms of circuitry and movement sequence, requiring only two linear actuators. Furthermore, this embodiment allows for a particularly simple and robust design and manufacturing process. Such basic frames for seating furniture are already known in the prior art in a variety of embodiments and are referred to, among other things, as recliner chairs or TV chairs.
