EP4633297A3EP 4633297 A3EP4633297 A3EP 4633297A3EP-4633297-A3
Abstract
An X-ray tube housing (451) is disclosed that has oil channels (458, 459) integrated (e.g., built into) the X-ray tube housing (451) that accommodate a flow of oil through interior spaces of the X-ray tube housing (451. A first oil channel (458) from a mid-casing portion (452) of the X-ray tube housing (451) to a pump housing inlet (470) is built into the mid-casing portion, and a second oil channel (459) from a pump housing outlet (802, 1210) to a heat exchanger (1002) located in an anode-side casing (456) is built into the anode-side casing (456). The integrated oil channels (458, 459) reduce a number of sealing joints, which reduces the opportunities for leaks, and allows an X-ray tube assembly to be assembled with fewer parts.
