DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE

Abstract

Provided is a developing cartridge that can ensure unhindered rotation of a coupling, an idle gear, and a first agitator gear, even when ribs are provided at positions near a developing roller. The developing cartridge (3) comprises: a casing (51); a developing roller (7) extending in a first direction; a developing-roller gear (68); a coupling (67) including a coupling gear (72) meshing with the developing-roller gear (68); a first idle gear (70A) meshing with the coupling gear (72); a second idle gear (70B) rotatable with the first idle gear (70A) about the second axis (A4); an agitator (11); a first agitator gear (71A) mounted to the agitator (11); and a protrusion (60L). The first agitator gear (71A) is spaced apart from the protrusion (60L). The second idle gear (70B) is rotatable with the first idle gear (70A) about a second axis, the second idle gear (70B) being positioned at the outer surface and spaced apart farther from the outer surface than the first idle gear (70A) from the outer surface. A diameter of the second idle gear (70B) is smaller than a diameter of the first idle gear (70A).
