LOAD CARRIER AND DRAFTING DEVICE

Abstract

The invention relates to a load-bearing support for the upper rollers of a drafting unit of a textile machine, comprising at least one receptacle with a carrier for receiving at least one of the upper rollers. To improve the handling of a drafting unit and thus also of a corresponding spinning machine, the following is provided: a spring arranged in the at least one receptacle and designed to load an upper roller in a defined direction away from the load carrier after being arranged on the carrier, wherein the direction of contact is the direction along which the upper roller is provided to come into contact with an associated lower roller of the drafting unit by means of pressure contact for fiber strip transport, wherein the carrier and the receptacle are connected to each other via a rotary joint, whereby the upper roller is movable following the load of the spring.
