Abstract

The present disclosure describes a wildlife guard assembly (100) for a power distribution line insulator (50). The wildlife guard assembly (100) includes a first cover member (110) pivotably coupled to a second cover member (130) about a fastener (60). The first cover member (110) includes a locking mechanism (118) configured to engage with the second cover member (130) to secure the first and second cover members (110, 130) in position when installed on the power distribution line insulator (50).
