EP-4708757-A3 - DOWNLINK SIGNAL RECEPTION IN CONTROL CHANNEL REPETITION
Abstract
A method for a wireless device of a wireless communication system is described herein. In one embodiment, the method includes: receiving - by the wireless device - one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages indicating a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a control resource set (coreset), wherein the coreset has a lowest coreset index in an active downlink bandwidth part of a cell. The method further includes receiving a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating activation of at least two TCI states of the plurality of TCI states for the coreset with the lowest coreset index, wherein the MAC CE comprises an ordered set of TCI state identifiers (IDs) of the at least two TCI states; receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink signal; and selecting a first TCI state, among the at least two TCI states, with a TCI state ID that occurs first in the ordered set of the TCI state IDs, wherein selecting the first TCI state is based on: a time offset between the DCI and the downlink signal being less than a threshold, and one or more TCI states, of the at least two TCI states, comprising quasi co-located type D information. Furthermore, the method includes receiving the downlink signal based on the selected TCI state. Moreover, related apparatuses and devices are described.
