Abstract
This application provides a communication method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: A DU obtains resource occupation information of network slices that are in at least two PLMNs supported by a cell of the DU, where the network slices in the at least two PLMNs share a resource. The DU sends the resource occupation information to a CU. The CU receives the resource occupation information from the DU and uses the resource occupation information. In this way, resource leveling is implemented.
