Abstract

Arrangements disclosed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for selecting, by a User Equipment (UE), one from a group of measurement reference signal resources and X measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources. X is equal to 1 or greater than 1. X is less than a number of measurement reference signal resource in the group of measurement reference signal resource. The UE reports to a node the selected one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.

Claims (20)

  1. A wireless communication method, comprising: selecting, by a wireless communication device, one from a group of measurement reference signal resources and X measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources, wherein X is equal to 1 or greater than 1, X is less than or equal to a number of measurement reference signal resource in the group of measurement reference signal resource; and reporting, by the wireless communication device to a node, the selected one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.
  2. A wireless communication method, comprising: selecting, by a wireless communication device, a group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that a condition is satisfied, wherein the condition comprises at least one of an attribute difference of any two measurement reference signal resources in the group being less than a first threshold and attributes of all measurement reference signal resources in the group being greater than a third threshold ; and reporting, by the wireless communication device to a node, the selected group of measurement reference signal resources.
  3. The method of claim 1, wherein reporting the selected one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources comprises at least one of: reporting, by the wireless communication device, the group of measurement reference signal resources, wherein the selected one is the group of measurement reference signal resource; or reporting, by the wireless communication device, an index of each of the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources, wherein the selected one is the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.
  4. The method of claim 3, wherein the group of measurement reference signal resources and the index of each of the X measurement reference signal resources corresponds to difference values of a same reporting bits field.
  5. The method of claim 2, wherein reporting the selected group of measurement reference signal resources comprises the selected group of measurement reference signal resources corresponding to a value of a reporting bits field.
  6. The method of claim 4 or 5, wherein the number of bits of the one same reporting bits field or the number of bits of the reporting bit field is one of: ceil (log 2 (M+S) ) ; or ceil (log 2 (N+1) ) , wherein M is a number of measurement reference signal resources of a set of measurement reference signal resources, S is a number of groups of measurement reference signal resources in the set, and N is a number of measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.
  7. The method of claim 4, wherein the wireless communication device reports two or more values of the same reporting field simultaneously, wherein either a value of the same reporting field corresponding to the group a or a value of the same reporting field corresponding to the index of the X measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is included in the two or more values.
  8. The method of claim 3, wherein the group of measurement reference signal resources and the index of each of the X measurement reference signal resources corresponds to two reporting bits fields.
  9. The method of claim 8, wherein a first bit field of the two reporting bits fields comprises two values, a first value of the two values represents that the selected one is the group of measurement reference signal resources and a second value of the two values represents the selected one is the X measurement reference signal resources.
  10. The method of claim 8 or 9, wherein a second bit field of the two reporting bits fields comprises X values, each of which corresponds to the index of one of the X measurement reference signal resources.
  11. The method of any of claims 3 to 10, wherein reporting one of the group of measurement reference signal resources and the index of each of the X measurement reference signal resources using one or two reporting bits field is based on at least one of a relationship between ceil (log 2 (M+S) ) and ceil (log 2 (M) ) , M; S; N; a relationship between ceil (log 2 (M+1) ) and ceil (log 2 (M) ) ; or a relationship between ceil (log 2 (N+1) ) and ceil (log 2 (N) ) , wherein M is a number of measurement reference signal resources of a set of measurement reference signal resources, S is a number of groups of measurement reference signal resources included in the set, and N is a number of measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.
  12. The method of claim 1, wherein selecting one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources according to at least one of: a difference between attributes of measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources; a correlation between channels of measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources; or whether attributes of all measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources are larger than a first threshold.
  13. The method of claim 1 or 12, wherein selecting one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources comprises at least one of: selecting, by the wireless communication device, the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that attribute difference of two or more measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is less than a second threshold; or selecting, by the wireless communication device, the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that attribute difference of two or more measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is equal to or greater than the second threshold.

The method of claim 1 or 12, wherein selecting one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources comprises at least one of: selecting, by the wireless communication device, the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that a correlation between channels of two or more measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is equal to or greater than a third threshold; or selecting, by the wireless communication device, the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that a correlation between channels of two or more measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is equal to or less than the third threshold.

The method of claim 1 or 12, wherein selecting one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources comprises at least one of: selecting, by the wireless communication device, the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that attributes of all measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources are equal to or larger than the first threshold; or selecting, by the wireless communication device, the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that attribute of at least one of measurement reference signal resource of the group of measurement reference signal resources is less than the first threshold.
  16. The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein the wireless communication device selects the group of measurement reference signal resources and reports the group of measurement reference signal resources, the method further comprises: reporting, by the wireless communication device to the node, at least one attribute shared by Y measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources, wherein Y is greater than 1 and less than or equal to a number of measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources.
  17. The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein the wireless communication device selects the group of measurement reference signal resources and reports the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that differences between attributes of any two or more measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources is below a first threshold.
  18. The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein the wireless communication device selects to the group of measurement reference signal resources and reports the group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that a correlation between channels of two or more measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources is greater than or equals to a second threshold.
  19. The method of any of claim 14 to 18, wherein at least one of the first threshold, the second threshold, or the third threshold is determined by the wireless communication device according to at least one of: information sent by the wireless communication device to the node; information received by the wireless communication device from the node; or a value.
  20. The method of any of claim 1 to 19, wherein the selected one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources is reported in Uplink Control Information (UCI) .

Description

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIA FOR CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING TECHNICAL FIELD The disclosure relates generally to wireless communications and, more particularly, to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for channel state information reporting. BACKGROUND In wireless communication systems (e.g., 5G and 6G wireless communication networks) , a User Equipment (UE) can measure its channel state and report channel state information to a network. SUMMARY The example implementations disclosed herein are directed to solving the issues relating to one or more of the problems presented in the prior art, as well as providing additional features that will become readily apparent by reference to the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompany drawings. In accordance with various implementations, example systems, methods, devices and computer program products are disclosed herein. It is understood, however, that these implementations are presented by way of example and are not limiting, and it will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art who read the present disclosure that various modifications to the disclosed implementations can be made while remaining within the scope of this disclosure. Some arrangements of the present disclosure relate to systems, apparatuses, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for selecting, by a wireless communication device, one from a group of measurement reference signal resources and X measurement reference signal sources of the group of measurement reference signal resources. X is equal to 1 or greater than 1. X is less than or equal to a number of measurement reference signal resource in the group of measurement reference signal resource. The wireless communication device reports to a node the selected one from the group of measurement reference signal resources and the X measurement reference signal resources of the group of measurement reference signal resources. Some arrangements of the present disclosure relate to systems, apparatuses, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for selecting, by a wireless communication device, a group of measurement reference signal resources in response to determining that an attribute difference of any two measurement reference signal resources in the group is less than a threshold and reporting, by the wireless communication device to a node, the selected group of measurement reference signal resources. The above and other aspects and their implementations are described in greater detail in the drawings, the descriptions, and the claims. The arrangements described herein allow a base station to obtain information about a type of a wireless communication device. The base station can efficiently schedule a middle node, such as a RIS, for the wireless communication device.
