  10. The door according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said threshold (4) comprises a base profile (6) which defines at least one internal abutment (6a) for said leaf (7), and extends longitudinally, without discontinuities, and is substantially coplanar with said frame (3).
  11. The door according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises at least two movable leaves (7), supported by said fixed frame structure (2), and central plugs (30), for hermetic closure at the abutment exchange (22) between said leaves (7), said central plugs (30) being provided with elastically deformable vertical sealing fins (21a, 21b, 21c).

Description

The present invention relates to a door. As is known, doors, like French windows and entrance doors to buildings, have, in general, a frame structure, which is fixed to the structure of the building, around a walkable opening in the building, and which supports at least one movable leaf, for opening/closing the walkable opening. In particular, the fixed frame structure of this type of door is typically formed by an upper frame, constituted by two lateral posts and an upper lintel, and, in a lower region, by a lowered threshold, constituted by a profile located on the floor, which defines an abutment in the lower part of the door. In order to ensure the absence of architectural barriers, the height of the threshold from the floor must be low. This factor places limitations on the water sealing of currently known thresholds. The aim of the present invention is to provide a door which is capable of improving the known art in one or more of the above mentioned aspects. Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a door, particularly for the construction of French windows and entrance doors, that has a superior watertight seal with respect to the prior art. Another object of the invention is to make the lower part of French windows and entrance doors more aesthetically pleasing. Another object of the invention is to provide a door that, although it ensures a high level of water sealing, makes it easy for installation technicians to mount the threshold on the remaining part of the frame. Another object of the invention is to provide a door that can be positively used with one or more leaves. Another object of the invention is to allow prolonged use of the door without the risk of compromising its watertight seal or requiring burdensome interventions to replace gaskets in the threshold. Furthermore, the present invention sets out to overcome the drawbacks of the background art in a manner that is alternative to any existing solutions. Another object of the invention is to provide a door that is highly reliable, easy to implement and at low cost. This aim and these and other objects which will become more apparent hereinafter are achieved by a door according to claim 1, optionally provided with one or more of the characteristics of the dependent claims. Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the description of preferred, but not exclusive, embodiments of the door according to the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings wherein: Figure 1 is a front elevation view of a door according to the invention;Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line II-II of Figure 1;Figure 3 is a perspective view of a detail of the door according to the invention, with the leaf open;Figure 4 is an enlarged-scale, partially cutaway detail of Figure 1;Figure 5 is a front elevation view of the door according to the invention in the embodiment with multiple leaves;Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VI-VI of Figure 5;Figure 7 is an enlarged-scale, partially cutaway detail of Figure 5;Figure 8 is a perspective view of a detail of the embodiment of Figure 5 with at least one leaf open;Figure 9 is a perspective view of a sealing plug of the door according to the invention;Figure 10 is a perspective view of a central plug of the door according to the invention;Figure 11 is a cross-sectional view, taken along a vertical plane, of the door according to the invention under conditions of particularly heavy rain;Figure 12 is a cross-sectional view, taken along a horizontal plane, of the door according to the invention under conditions of heavy rain. With reference to the figures, the door according to the invention, generally designated by the reference numeral 1, comprises a fixed frame structure 2, which is intended to be fixed to the structure of a building, around a walkable opening. The fixed frame structure 2 has, in particular, a frame 3 and, in a lower region, a lowered threshold element or threshold 4, placed substantially at the floor 5 of the building. As usual, the frame 3 can comprise a pair of lateral posts 3a and 3b and an upper lintel 3c. Advantageously, the threshold 4 comprises, in turn, a base profile 6, better described below and preferably made of plastic material, such as, for example, PVC, which is connected, conveniently, to the frame 3, substantially at its opposing ends, and anchored, in a manner that is in and of itself known, to the floor 5. The fixed frame structure 2 furthermore supports at least one movable leaf 7, for opening or closing the walkable opening. It should be noted that if the door is a French window, then the leaf 7 will have, as is in and of itself known, at least one glazed pane or double glazing pane 8, mounted on a movable frame 7a of the leaf proper, in order to allow natural light to enter the building. Substantially at the longitudinal ends of the threshold 4, seali
