Description
The present invention relates to a door or window closure element. As is known, door or window closure elements are typically constituted by a fixed frame, which is installed around an opening defined in the wall of a building, and by at least one leaf that can be opened, which is supported by the fixed frame. As is likewise known, the fixed frame is, in turn, made from a plurality of profiled elements which are connected at right angles to each other, in order to provide a closed shape. In some types of buildings, such as, for example, prefabricated residential modules in hospitality structures for tourist use, such as chalets, mobile homes or the like, a cladding is usually applied on the outer face of the wall of the building, and is typically implemented with slats of wood or other materials and which helps improve both the energy efficiency and the appearance of the building. In these cases, in the profiled elements that make up the fixed frame of the door or window closure element, a seat is defined for inserting the cladding. This seat is normally delimited by a pair of flaps, which are supported by the profiled elements and are designed to be arranged outside the wall of the building. The cladding can be inserted between this pair of flaps. In order to ensure an optimal fit of the door or window closure element, the dimension of the seat for the cladding, which is defined by the profiled elements between the two flaps, must correspond to the dimension of the thickness of the cladding. Since the types of cladding commonly used can have mutually different thicknesses, various different types of profiled elements are currently available for making up the fixed frame, each one with a seat compatible with the cladding applied on the building. This factor obviously entails the need to source, in each instance, profiled elements that match the specific cladding used. The aim of the present invention is to provide a door or window closure element that is capable of improving the known art in one or more of the above mentioned aspects. Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a door or window closure element that is compatible with claddings of different thicknesses. Another object of the invention is to provide a door or window closure element that is highly versatile, allowing simple and practical assembly on a vast range of mutually different walls and claddings, as well as considerably easier disassembly. Another object of the invention is to provide a door or window closure element that is highly resistant to atmospheric agents and is capable of offering optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. Another object of the invention is to provide a door or window closure element that can offer a superior aesthetic finish with respect to the prior art. A further object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the background art in a manner that is alternative to any existing solutions. Another object of the invention is to provide a door or window closure element that is highly reliable, relatively easy to implement, and can be produced at highly competitive costs. This aim and these and other objects which will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by a door or window closure element according to claim 1, optionally provided with one or more of the characteristics of the dependent claims. Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become better apparent from the description of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment of the door or window closure element according to the invention, which is illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings wherein: Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a profiled element of the fixed frame of the door or window closure element according to the invention, mounted on a wall of a building, on the outer face of which a cladding is applied;Figure 2 is an enlarged-scale cross-sectional view of a portion of the profiled element of Figure 1, which is installed on a wall with a cladding applied to it which has a different thickness from the cladding shown in Figure 1;Figure 3 is a view similar to that of Figure 2, but in which the profiled element is mounted on a wall with a cladding of greater thickness applied to it;Figure 4 is another view similar to that of Figure 2, but in which the profiled element is mounted on a wall with a cladding of even greater thickness applied to it;Figure 5 is a perspective view of the main body of the profiled element;Figure 6 is a view of an external in-wall frame element of the door or window closure element according to the invention;Figure 7 is a transverse cross-sectional view of external in-wall frame element;Figure 8 is a perspective cross-sectional view of a profiled element of the fixed frame of the door or window closure element according to the invention, mounted on a wall with an outer cladding applied to it. With reference to the figures, the door or window
