Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION This application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2024-0153599, filed on 1 November 2024 in the Korean Intellectual Property Office. TECHNICAL FIELD The present disclosure relates to a display device and, more specifically, to a display device including panel pads in a non-display region and an electronic device including the same. DISCUSSION OF THE RELATED ART Typically, a display device consists of multiple electronic components. For example, electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptop computers, and televisions contain an electro-optical panel that generates images, along with a main circuit board and connection circuit boards that facilitate signal transmissions. The connection circuit board may be electrically connected to the display panel, transmitting the necessary signals for display operation. To establish this connection, pads on both the connection circuit board and the display panel are bonded together. As display regions have expanded in modem devices, the available space for the connection circuit board has decreased. Consequently, reducing the size of the connection circuit board has become necessary to accommodate this change while maintaining functionality. SUMMARY A display device includes a substrate having a display area and a non-display area proximate to the display area. A thin-film transistor is disposed on the substrate. A light-emitting element is disposed within the display area on the substrate and is electrically connected to the thin-film transistor. The non-display area includes a pad area in which a plurality of panel pads arranged in a first direction are disposed.
