Description

EYEGLASSES WITH NOSE PAD HOLDER The present invention relates to a frame for eyeglasses with a nose pad holder. More specifically, the invention relates to a frame for eyeglasses, with a nose pad holder that is adapted to be coupled thereto in a manner less visible and longer lasting with respect to the background art. Some nose pad holders for eyeglasses, which are known in the background art, are coupled to the eyeglasses by means of a pair of arms the ends of which are inserted into holes defined in the frame of the eyeglasses, centrally between the seats for the two respective lenses, in the bridge of the frame, i.e. the connecting portion of the lenses. The pair of arms thus coupled to the frame end, at the opposite ends from the ends coupled to the frame, in a pair of resting portions or pads which serve to rest the frame on the nose of the user. In order to ensure sufficient comfort for the user, such resting portions are conveniently adjustable, with their position modifiable so as to be adapted to all types of nose and thus ensuring that the user can wear the eyeglasses for long periods without experiencing discomfort. Adjusting such resting portions, and in any case resting them on the nose of the user, with consequent modification of their position and in any case displacement of the resting portions with respect to the terminal end of the arms, has the effect that those arms will exert a force in the holes in which they are coupled to the frame, with the result that over time those holes tend to widen and the arms are no longer firmly coupled in them. This translates to an unwanted mobility of the arms and, in the end, to the need to replace the frame, as the widened holes mean it is no longer possible to properly retain the arms that support the resting portions of the frame on the nose of the user. Other nose pad holders that are known in the background art do not have connecting arms, but are of the non-movable type and are therefore not adjustable by the user. They are also more difficult to disassemble in the event of disposal. The aim of the present invention is to provide eyeglasses with a nose pad holder, in which the nose pad holder can be connected to the frame of the eyeglasses more strongly and longer lasting with respect to the prior art. Within this aim, an object of the present invention is to provide eyeglasses with a nose pad holder, in which the nose pad holder is much less visible than in conventional solutions and which is simpler to assemble. Another object of the present invention is to provide eyeglasses with a nose pad holder, in which the nose pad holder maintains all the possibilities for adjusting the respective resting portions, thus ensuring a high level of adaptability to the various types of face and of nose, yet being substantially concealed within the frame of the eyeglasses. Another object of the present invention is to provide such a nose pad holder which can be easily substituted by the user in the event of damage or desire of the user to change it and/or substitute it. Another object of the present invention is to provide eyeglasses with a nose pad holder that are highly reliable, easily and practically implemented and at low cost. This aim and these and other objects which will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by eyeglasses with a nose pad holder, comprising a frame defined by a pair of portions adapted to accommodate respective lenses and a connecting portion between said portions, characterized in that said frame is provided with a seat which is defined at the lower edge of said connecting portion and extends into the segment of the frame that is adjacent to said connecting portion, said seat being adapted to accommodate, by snap coupling, a nose pad holder provided with nose pads for resting the frame on the nose of the user. Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the detailed description of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment of the eyeglasses with nose pad holder according to the present invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings wherein: Figure 1 is an exploded front elevation view of the eyeglasses with nose pad holder according to the present invention; Figure 2 is an exploded front elevation view of the eyeglasses according to the present invention, in the step of coupling the nose pad holder; Figure 3 is an exploded front elevation view of the eyeglasses according to the present invention, with the nose pad holder coupled; Figure 4 is a cross-sectional partial exploded front elevation view of the eyeglasses with nose pad holder according to the present invention; Figure 5 is a cross-sectional partial front elevation view of the eyeglasses with nose pad holder according to the present invention, in the step of coupling the nose pad holder; Figure 6 is a cross-sectional partial front elevation view of the eyeglasses with nose pad holder a
