Abstract

An information display for a seat in a public transport vehicle is generally arranged on the interior wall of the vehicle above the row of seats so that the information has to be provided for a number of seats, in particular one, two or three. At the same time, in the case of seat rows arranged opposite one another, with or without a table therebetween, the information displays are oriented such that the seat numbers are arranged on the side of the seat faces and the display containing reservation information in the direction of view of the seated person. To enable these aforementioned purposes to be implemented with one embodiment, the reservation display (100) as such is implemented by an LED unit above which a long-range display is arranged, wherein the long-range display is to be arranged independently of the orientation of the information display. Furthermore, an energy-saving structure is achieved by separating the display containing reservation information from the reservation display as such, wherein the display containing reservation information is implemented with a bi-stable LCD display and the reservation display as such is implemented by an LED.

Claims (10)

  1. 1. Information display (100, 300, 600) for at least one seat in a public transport vehicle (61, 62, 63, 69) with a housing (10) and with a display (20, 30) with reservation information, characterized in that the display with reservation information is divided into an alphanumeric image-based display (20) of the reservation information and a reservation display (30) as such, that the alphanumeric image-based display of the reservation information comprises a screen (20) which can be rotated 180 degrees perpendicularly (25) to the plane of the display surface for installation, that the reservation display (30) as such comprises a number of LED units (51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56) corresponding to the maximum number of possible reservation seats or reservation indicators, and that the LED units (51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56) are arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (15) of the screen (20) next to the screen (20).
  2. 2. Information display according to claim 1, wherein the reservation display (30, 130) is covered by a wide-range display (40, 240, 640) in the form of an insertable, partially transparent plate.
  3. 3. Information display according to claim 2, wherein the housing (10) has an insertion device (32, 132) for the wide-range display (40, 240, 640) on both sides in the transverse direction (45) above the reservation display (30, 130).
  4. 4. Information display according to claim 3, wherein the insertion device has a number of lateral hold-downs (32) with which the wide-range display (40, 240, 640) is held on the surface (31) of the housing (10).

Information display according to one of claims 3 to 5, wherein the housing (10) in the region of the insertion device (32, 132) on both side walls of the housing (10) each having a lateral recess (35) which is provided on the same side in the viewing direction (45) of the respective side wall of the housing (10), and wherein the wide-range display (40, 240, 640) has a complementary lateral nose (41) on the side of the lateral recess (35).
  8. 8. Information display according to claim 7, wherein the lateral nose (41) has a pin (36, 136) with which the wide-range display (40, 240, 640) can be locked in the recess.
  9. 9. Information display according to claim 8, wherein the pin (136) closes an electrical contact when latched for generating a control signal for the orientation of the display of the display (20).

Information display (100, 300, 600) according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the display with reservation information is divided into an alphanumeric image-based display (20) of the reservation information and into a reservation display (30) as such, wherein the alphanumeric image-based display comprises a bistable LCD display (20) and the reservation display as such (30) comprises at least one LED unit (51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56).

TITLE INFORMATION DISPLAY FOR A SEAT IN A PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLE TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an information display for a seat in a public transport vehicle. STATE OF THE ART Reservation displays are particularly well known from trains, with which not only the fact of the reservation itself but also the starting and ending stations of the reservation and, if necessary, other information can be displayed. EP 3 808600 A1 shows a system for monitoring one or more passenger seats of a vehicle with sensors configured to monitor an occupancy state for each of the seats; and with a first display unit that a.) displays an occupancy state for each of the seats and b.) determines the occupancy state for each of the seats based on the occupancy state for each of the seats over a predefined period of time; and with a second display unit that can receive and display reservation conditions for the seats. The display units are arranged near the seats. WO 2021/048437 proposes to removably mount information displays on a rail mounted in the vehicle, with data signals and power being supplied via the rail. EP 0 659 625 A1 describes a system for displaying information about the occupancy or non-occupancy of reservable seats in passenger transport means, wherein display fields are provided on or near the seats for displaying alphanumeric data which can be actuated by electrical signals, each of which is connected to a control unit with its own address to which the data to be displayed about the occupancy or non-occupancy of the respective seat is fed from a transmitting unit at its address. This system is intended to function wirelessly, the display fields are intended to be liquid crystal displays and the display fields are intended to be supplied with energy wirelessly by solar cells. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION Based on this prior art, the invention is based on the object of specifying an information display for a seat in a public transport vehicle, with which the problems of the above-mentioned devices can be overcome. become. At the same time, in rows of seats arranged opposite each other, with or without a table in between, the information displays are aligned so that the seat numbers are arranged on the side of the seat surfaces and the display with reservation information is in the direction of the seated person. Therefore, the state of the art requires two differently designed information displays, one in the direction of travel and one against the direction of travel. Based on the state of the art, an information display is to be created with which all of the above-mentioned purposes can be realized with just a few designs.
