Description
The present invention relates to a piece of luggage, for example a suitcase, a travel bag or a backpack, comprising a handle and at least one luggage compartment. State of the art A rolling suitcase, for example, is mentioned in the disclosure document. DE102019120878A1 known. Disclosure of the invention Despite digitalization, there remains a strong need to cultivate business relationships in person. This necessitates business travel. Private travel will also continue to be of great importance in the future. Due to cost-cutting measures and the like, delays and corresponding waiting times are frequent for both flights and trains. For businesspeople, but also for private individuals, such waiting times are associated with high material and immaterial costs. Often, these waiting times must also be endured in very uncomfortable conditions. The object of the present invention is therefore to offer devices that make travel efficient and comfortable. The problem is initially solved by a piece of luggage comprising a handle and at least one luggage compartment, the handle including a magnet. The piece of luggage could be, for example, a suitcase, a travel bag, or a backpack. One of the underlying ideas of the invention is that a large number of electronic devices, for example tablets, laptops, smartphones, etc. They are at least partially magnetically attracted. Almost all other such electronic devices can also be made magnetic and/or magnetizable by, for example, affixing a magnetic and/or magnetizable film or similar material. Such electronic devices can then be positioned and held using the magnetic handle. It is conceivable, in particular, that magnetization could be used to fix a person's smartphone, tablet or similar device to the luggage, especially to the handle. If, for example, a person with such luggage has to wait for an extended period of time, such as for a delayed connecting train or a flight that hasn't yet arrived, they can attach their electronic device to the handle using the magnet and use it there. The person can comfortably access media on the electronic device, such as a smartphone. They can use the device similarly to a home office to complete tasks. In particular, they can benefit from the convenient position on the handle, which allows for extended use of the electronic device. Therefore, office work or similar tasks can be completed while waiting. This allows the person to increase their efficiency, for example, when completing work tasks while traveling. For example, the person could watch a film on their electronic device to make the waiting time more pleasant. Alternatively or additionally, they could listen to music and/or read and/or create messages, such as emails. Overall, the person can therefore use the waiting time efficiently. They can spend the waiting time pleasantly and thus comfortably. The efficiency and comfort of the journey can thus be increased. It is conceivable that the magnet is integrated into the handle. The handle as a whole can be more magnetized. The magnet can extend to a surface of the Reach close to the handle. This allows magnetic forces to act particularly strongly on the electronic device, thus securing it especially securely to the handle. The handle itself can act as the magnet. For example, magnetic particles can be embedded in the handle material. The handle can also be flattened in certain areas to provide a particularly stable surface for placing the electronic device. It is also advantageous if the piece of luggage includes a battery and/or a battery compartment. The battery can be rechargeable, allowing the luggage to serve as a power source for electronic devices, for example. This means that devices, especially electronics, can be used for extended periods while traveling without needing an external power supply. The luggage can be equipped with a force sensor. This force sensor can function as a built-in scale to determine the luggage's weight. The force sensor can connect to an electronic device via Bluetooth, a wireless interface, or a wired interface, such as one of the so-called "USB" standards. This allows the force sensor to be read by the electronic device. With a suitable force sensor setup, the user can then measure the weight of the luggage simply by lifting it by the handle. Knowing the weight of luggage can be particularly important for air travel, for example, to ensure compliance with weight restrictions. The piece of luggage, particularly the handle, may have a display. This display can show a measured value, such as the force sensor reading, and thus the weight of the luggage. It is also conceivable that the piece of luggage, particularly the handle, has a mode selector switch. The mode selector switch may be set to... The operation switches between different view modes. One view mode might, for example, display the measured value from the force sensor. Other view modes might include the display of the current location, a t
