Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an electrostatic precipitator assembly for arrangement in connection with an associated flue gas passageway. In particular, it relates to such an electrostatic precipitator assembly having a design with which it is possible to limit or avoid the build-up of particles on the insulator and thereby ensure a high efficiency in the removal of particles from the flue gas passageway. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION An electrostatic precipitator system can be used for reducing the number of fine and ultrafine particles in an aerosol or a flow of flue gas from e.g. a wood-burning stove or a pellet boiler. In such a system, an electric field is generated by a discharge electrode arranged in the flue gas passageway, typically a chimney, and connected to a high voltage generator. The electric field causes the aerosol or flue gas around the discharge electrode to become ionized. Hereby either free electrons or charged gas molecules become trapped on the particles and thereby charge the particles. The charged particles are repulsed from the discharge electrode towards a grounded collection electrode on which they settle and build up and from where they can subsequently be removed in a controlled manner. Hereby the amount of pollution can be significantly lowered. The electrostatic precipitator system comprises an insulator which is arranged between the high voltage generator and the discharge electrode. A connector rod forms a mechanical connection between the discharge electrode and the insulator and an electrical connection between the discharge electrode and the associated high voltage generator. Typically, a high voltage cable passes through the insulator and connects to the connector rod to the high voltage generator. All these components are typically arranged in a housing mounted laterally onto the chimney forming the flue gas passage. The connector rod extends through an opening in the side wall of the flue gas passageway, and this opening and the surrounding gas flow patterns mean that a small amount of particle-containing flue gas flows into the housing in which the insulator is arranged. The high voltage, typically in the order of 30,000V results in some of the particles being deposited on the insulator. These particles comprise carbon dust which is electrically conducting thereby resulting in a current running between the deposited particles and the plate on which the insulator is mounted. This means that there is less power available for the functioning of the discharge electrode whereby the efficiency of the cleaning process is reduced. Hence, an improved electrostatic precipitator assembly would be advantageous, and in particular a more efficient and/or reliable electrostatic precipitator assembly would be advantageous. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly with which it is possible to control the flow of flue gas into the space between an insulator of the electrostatic precipitator assembly and a flue gas passageway in connection with which the electrostatic precipitator assembly is arranged. It is another object of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly with which the build-up of particles on an insulator of the electrostatic precipitator assembly can be limited, such as avoided, compared to other similar known assemblies. It is another object of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly with which a high efficiency in the removal of particles from the flue gas passageway is obtained. It is an object of some embodiments of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly which is configured to be arranged in connection with an inspection hole of a known inspection hatch arranged in a flue gas passageway, such as a chimney. It is another object of some embodiments of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly which is configured to be arranged at a connection between pipe sections of a T-pipe forming a chimney part. It is a further object of the present invention to provide an alternative to the prior art. In particular, it may be seen as an object of the present invention to provide an electrostatic precipitator assembly that solves the above-mentioned problems of the prior art. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The above-described object and several other objects are intended to be obtained in a first aspect of the invention by providing an electrostatic precipitator assembly for arrangement in connection with an associated flue gas passageway, such as a chimney or a chimney part, the electrostatic precipitator assembly comprising: a discharge electrode configured to be arranged in the flue gas passageway and configured to be electrically connected to an associated high voltage generator for providing an electric field being generated in a region around the discharge elect
