Abstract

A slide rail mechanism is provided and includes a first slide rail assembly(200), a second slide rail assembly(206) and a locking member(230). Each of the first slide rail assembly(200) and the second slide rail assembly(206) includes a first rail(204, 210) and a second rail(202, 208). The second rails(202, 208) of the first slide rail assembly(200) and the second slide rail assembly(206) are displaceable relative to the corresponding first rails(204, 210), respectively, from a retracted position(R) to a working position(W) by a predetermined distance(G) in an opening direction(D1). When the second rail(202) of the first slide rail assembly(200) is displaced from the retraced position or the working position(W) in the opening direction(D1), the locking member(230) is driven to move from a first predetermined position(P1) to a second predetermined position(P2) to prevent the second rail(208) of the second slide rail assembly(206) from displacing from the working position(W) in the opening direction(D1).

Claims (15)

  1. A slide rail mechanism characterized by : a first slide rail assembly (200); a second slide rail assembly (206), each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) comprising a first rail (204, 210) and a second rail (202, 208) displaceable relative to the first rail (204, 210); a first working device (216) arranged on the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200), the first working device (216) comprising a first working member (228) and a first predetermined track (232); a second working device (218) arranged on the second rail (208) of the second slide rail assembly (206), the second working device (218) comprising a second working member (234) and a second predetermined track; a locking member (230) movable relative to the first rail (204, 210) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206); a first auxiliary feature (212) arranged on the locking member (230); and a second auxiliary feature (214) arranged on the locking member (230); wherein when the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) is located at a retracted position (R) relative to the first rail (204, 210) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206), the first auxiliary feature (212) and the second auxiliary feature (214) are spaced apart from the first working device (216) and the second working device, respectively, by a predetermined distance (G); wherein the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) is displaceable from the retracted position (R) to a working position (W) by the predetermined distance (G) relative to the first rail (204, 210) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) in an opening direction (D1); wherein when the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200) is displaced from the working position (W) relative to the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) in the opening direction (D1), the first working member (228) of the first working device (216) is configured to abut against the first auxiliary feature (212) for driving the locking member (230) to move from a first predetermined position (P1) to a second predetermined position (P2) in a height direction, and the first predetermined track (232) of the first working device (216) is configured to support the locking member (230) for maintaining the locking member (230) at the second predetermined position (P2); wherein when the locking member (230) is located at the second predetermined position (P2), the second auxiliary feature (214) is configured to block the second working member (234) to prevent the second rail (208) of the second slide rail assembly (206) from displacing from the working position (W) relative to the first rail (210) of the second slide rail assembly (206) in the opening direction (D1).
  2. The slide rail mechanism of claim 1, characterized in that each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) further comprises a third rail (224, 226), and the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) is movably mounted between the first rail (204, 210) and the third rail (224, 226) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206).
  3. The slide rail mechanism of claim 2, characterized in that the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) comprises a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, the first side and the second side of the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) face toward the first rail (204, 210) and the third rail (224, 226) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206), respectively, the first working device (216) is arranged on the first side of the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200), and the second working device (218) is arranged on the first side of the second rail (208) of the second slide rail assembly (206).
  4. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 2 to 3, characterized in that the second rail (202, 208) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) comprises a first predetermined feature, the third rail (224, 226) of each of the first slide rail assembly (200) and the second slide rail assembly (206) comprises a second predetermined feature, and the first predetermined feature is configured to engage with the corresponding second predetermined feature to drive the corresponding third rail (224, 226) to displace synchronously with the corresponding second rail (202, 208).
  5. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the first predetermined track (232) is oriented parallel to a length direction of the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200), and the second predetermined track is oriented parallel to a length direction of the second rail (208) of the second slide rail assembly (206).
  6. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that each of the first working member (228) and the second working member (234) comprises a first portion and a second portion (236), a first guiding path is formed between the first portion and the second portion of the first working member (228) and communicated with a first supporting path formed on the first predetermined track (232), and a second guiding path is formed between the first portion and the second portion (236) of the second working member (234) and communicated with a second supporting path formed on the second predetermined track.
  7. The slide rail mechanism of claim 6, characterized in that the first portion of each of the first working member (228) and the second working member (234) comprises a first guiding section, the second portion (236) of each of the first working member (228) and the second working member (234) comprises a second guiding section facing toward the first guiding section of each of the first working member (228) and the second working member (234), the first guiding path is formed between the first guiding section of the first portion and the second guiding section of the second portion of the first working member (228), and the second guiding path is formed between the first guiding section of the first portion and the second guiding section of the second portion (236) of the second working member (234).
  8. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 6 to 7, characterized in that when the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200) is displaced relative to the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) in the opening direction (D1), the first portion of the first working member (228) of the first working device (216) is configured to abut against the first auxiliary feature (212) to guide the first auxiliary feature (212) to move along the first guiding path for driving the locking member (230) to move from the first predetermined position (P1) to the second predetermined position (P2) in the height direction, and the first predetermined track (232) of the first working device (216) is configured to support the first auxiliary feature (212) moving into the first supporting path from the first guiding path for maintaining the locking member (230) at the second predetermined position (P2).
  9. The slide rail mechanism of claim 8, characterized in that when the second rail (202) of the first slide rail assembly (200) is displaced relative to the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) in the opening direction (D1), the first portion of the first working member (228) of the first working device (216) is configured to abut against a rolling portion (233) of the first auxiliary feature (212) to guide the rolling portion (233) of the first auxiliary feature (212) to move along the first guiding path for driving the locking member (230) to move from the first predetermined position (P1) to the second predetermined position (P2) in the height direction, and the first predetermined track (232) of the first working device (216) is configured to support the rolling portion (233) of the first auxiliary feature (212) moving into the first supporting path from the first guiding path for maintaining the locking member (230) at the second predetermined position (P2).
  10. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) comprises a first space for allowing the first auxiliary feature (212) to pass therethrough, thereby enabling the first working member (228) to cooperate with the first auxiliary feature (212).
  11. The slide rail mechanism of claim 10, characterized in that the first rail (210) of the second slide rail assembly (206) comprises a second space for allowing the second auxiliary feature (214) to pass therethrough, thereby enabling the second working member (234) to cooperate with the second auxiliary feature (214).
  12. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 1 to 11, further characterized by a mounting member, the locking member (230) being configured to be detachably mounted on a rack (223) by the mounting member, a first restraining feature being arranged on one of the rack (223) and the mounting member, and a second restraining feature being arranged on another one of the rack (223) and the mounting member and configured to cooperate with the first restraining feature to restrict movement of the locking member (230) relative to the rack (223) within a limited range.
  13. The slide rail mechanism of any of claims 1 to 9, further characterized by a bracket (220), the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) being configured to be mounted on a rack (223) by the bracket.
  14. The slide rail mechanism of claim 13, further characterized by a movable member mounted on the bracket (220) and located between the bracket (220) and the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200), the movable member being movable relative to the bracket (220) in the height direction, the first auxiliary feature (212) being configured to pass through a predetermined hole of the movable member and a portion of a first space of the first rail (204) of the first slide rail assembly (200) sequentially.
  15. The slide rail mechanism of claim 14, characterized in that a first restraining portion and a second restraining portion are arranged on the bracket (220) for restricting movement of the movable member in the height direction.

Description

Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a slide rail mechanism according to the pre-characterizing clause of claim 1. Background of the Invention In U.S. Patent No. 3,888,558, it discloses an interlock mechanism adapted for a cabinet body. A plurality of drawers are arranged on the cabinet body and supported by a plurality of slide rail assemblies, respectively. Each of the plurality of slide rail assemblies includes a fixed rail fixed on the cabinet body and a movable rail configured to support the corresponding drawer. The interlock mechanism includes a locking rod movable relative to the cabinet body. A plurality of rolling members are arranged on the locking rod. A guiding member is disposed on a lateral side of each of the drawers, and the guiding member includes an inclined protruding block portion and a blocking portion located under the inclined protruding block portion. When one of the drawers is opened, the inclined protruding block portion of the guiding member on the one of the drawers abuts against the corresponding rolling member to drive the locking rod to move from an unlocking position to a locking position, thereby enabling the blocking portions of the other guiding members to block the other rolling members to prevent the other drawers from being opened. In U.S. Patent No. 3,404,929, it discloses a storage system with an interlock function. Similar to U.S. Patent No. 3,888,558, in the storage system of U.S. Patent No. 3,404,929, a cam assembly is arranged on each of a plurality of drawers and configured to cooperate with a locking rod. When one of the drawers is opened, the cam assemblies on the other drawers are blocked by corresponding protruding objects on the locking rod, respectively, thereby preventing the other drawers from being opened. In U.S. Patent No. 6,722,749 B1, it discloses a drawer open position controller having a housing, a plurality of drawers arranged on the housing, and a drawer lock. The drawer lock includes a plurality of ramps, a plurality of followers and a plurality of blocking devices. The ramps and the blocking devices protrude from a linking bar. When one of the drawers is opened from a retracted position to an opened position, e.g., a fully opened position, in an opening direction, the follower on the one of the drawers moves along a guiding path between the corresponding ramp and the corresponding blocking device, and the corresponding blocking device is supported by a support to maintain a position of the linking bar to enable the other blocking devices to block the followers on the other drawers. Accordingly, the other drawers are only allowed to be opened from the retraced position to a predetermined position, e.g., a semi-opened position. However, in order to meet different requirements, it becomes an important topic to provide a different slide rail product with an interlock function. Summary of the Invention This is mind, the present invention aims at providing a slide rail mechanism with an interlock function. This is achieved by a slide rail mechanism according to claim 1. The dependent claims pertain to corresponding further developments and improvements. As will be seen more clearly from the detail description following below, the claimed slide rail mechanism includes a first slide rail assembly, a second slide rail assembly, a first working device, a second working device and a locking member. Each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly includes a first rail and a second rail displaceable relative to the first rail. The first working device is arranged on the second rail of the first slide rail assembly. The first working device includes a first working member and a first predetermined track. The second working device is arranged on the second rail of the second slide rail assembly. The second working device includes a second working member and a second predetermined track. The locking member is movable relative to the first rail of each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly. The first auxiliary feature is arranged on the locking member. The second auxiliary feature is arranged on the locking member. When the second rail of each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly is located at a retracted position relative to the first rail of each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly, the first auxiliary feature and the second auxiliary feature are spaced apart from the first working device and the second working device, respectively, by a predetermined distance. The second rail of each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly is displaceable from the retracted position to a working position by the predetermined distance relative to the first rail of each of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly in an opening direction.
