Description

This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202311007079.6, filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on August 10, 2023 and entitled "THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION METHOD, FEATURE SELECTION METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE", which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD Embodiments of this application relate to the communication field, and in particular, to a threshold configuration method, a feature selection method, and a communication device. BACKGROUND Random access is a necessary process of establishing a radio link between a user terminal (User Equipment, UE) and a network side device in a communication system. The network side device is an access network device, such as a base station. Through the random access, the user terminal may establish the radio link with the network side device. Before the user terminal initiates random access to the network side device, the user terminal first receives configuration information broadcast by the network side device, and completes initialization based on the configuration information. The configuration information may include a threshold corresponding to a parameter representing link quality. The user terminal may determine an MSG1 (Message1) repetition number in the random access procedure by using the threshold. The MSG1 repetition number is one of important features in the random access procedure. The user terminal may determine the MSG1 repetition number according to the measured link quality parameter and the threshold; and then, select a resource according to the determined MSG1 repetition number and other random access features that may exist. A resource needed in the random access procedure is usually configured in a BWP (Bandwidth Part, bandwidth part), and there may be a plurality of resource configuration cases on the BWP. Therefore, the network side device needs to properly set a threshold for each MSG1 repetition number according to the resource configuration cases on the BWP, and the user terminal needs to properly select a random access feature according to the measured link quality parameter and the threshold.
