Car bumper with ventilation grille

Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle bumper comprising, on the one hand, a lower grille (1) delimited at the top by an upper wall (11) extending rearward in a plane substantially perpendicular to the grille and, on the other hand, a central cavity (10) formed in the grille (1) and intended for mounting an obstacle detection radar, characterized in that said cavity (10) opens to the outside through the upper wall (11) of the grille and is closed by a retractable flap (12), as well as a method for manufacturing such a bumper.
