Abstract
The invention relates to a method for preparing a silica-based magnetic mesoporous material (MSM), said method comprising the steps of: i) Functionalizing the silanol (-SiOH) groups of a silica-based mesoporous material by covalent grafting of a ligand (L) comprising, at at least one end, a zwitterionic group of formula (I), particularly capable of complexing superparamagnetic particles: where n is an integer equal to 3 or 4; ii) Incorporating superparamagnetic ferrite particles (MFe2O4NP) within the mesoporous material, thereby obtaining a silica-based magnetic mesoporous material (MSM).
