Container sealing apparatus for controlled atmosphere and sealing installation comprising said apparatus

Abstract

The invention relates to a controlled atmosphere container closing device (8), comprising at least one support (9) arranged to hold a container (2) to be closed and at least one controlled atmosphere source (V, G). It is characterized in that it comprises a capping device (26) arranged to carry a stopper (3) and place it on said container (2) to close it, in that said stopper device (26) and said support (9) are arranged to delimit between them a sealed chamber (39) around said container (2) to be closed, and in that said sealed chamber (39) communicates with said at least one controlled atmosphere source (V, G) via at least one conduit (24) to modify and/or control the air contained in said container (2) before the placement of said stopper (3).
