Abstract

An ironing appliance comprising a cordless iron (1) equipped with an auxiliary reservoir (14) and a base (2) on which the iron (1) is intended to be placed in a charging position during inactive ironing phases, the base (2) comprising a main reservoir (26), and the appliance comprising a hydraulic filling circuit (7) for supplying the auxiliary reservoir (14) with liquid from the main reservoir (26) when the iron (1) is in the charging position, characterized in that it also comprises a hydraulic return circuit (8) for sending liquid from the auxiliary reservoir (14) to the main reservoir (26) when the iron (1) is in the charging position, the hydraulic return circuit (8) being arranged in parallel with the hydraulic filling circuit (7).
