Method and device for estimating the wear rate of components of a vehicle traveling on a road

Abstract

The invention relates to methods and devices for estimating the wear rates of a set of at least one component of a vehicle (10) traveling on a first road (1001). To achieve this, the method consists of receiving initial data representative of the characteristics of the first road from a first set of detection devices and identifying a road pattern associated with the first road using a road pattern identification model, the parameters of the road pattern being associated with this road pattern. The method also includes receiving a set of control parameters from at least one on-board active system and estimating the wear rates of the set of at least one vehicle component from at least one wear prediction model associated with the set of components, receiving as input the road configuration parameters and the set of control parameters.
