Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and device for controlling a display system of an electric vehicle comprising a navigation system, a charge level warning system, and a trip planning module, the display system comprising a touchscreen (12). For this purpose, first data representing the activation state of the trip planning module and second data representing the current charge level of the electric vehicle's traction battery are received. The display of warning messages (21) generated by the warning system on the touchscreen (12) is controlled based on the first data, the second data, and the result of a comparison between a threshold value of the trip planning module and threshold values for triggering the display of the warning messages.
