Mechanism for making a shutter hinge

Abstract

Mechanism for manufacturing a flap hinge. The invention relates to a system for manufacturing an airbag channel sealing flap and a hinge formed by an overmolded reinforcing material (2). This system comprises: an injection mold (1) configured to receive and position a reinforcing material (2) at a portion (11) to form a hinge for the sealing flap; a protruding retaining means (12) fixed to the injection mold (1) for positioning the reinforcing material; a through-hole (21) carried by the reinforcing material (2) such that the insertion of the retaining means (12) into this hole positions a portion of the reinforcing material (2) in the portion (11) of the injection mold (1) dedicated to the hinge. The through-hole (21) comprises a first part and a second part with dimensions respectively larger and smaller than those of the retaining means (12) in cross-section.
