Abstract

Title: BODY-SURF VEST WITH SIDE ZIPPER(S) FEATURING FIXED OR INTERCHANGEABLE GLIDE ELEMENTS ON THE VENTRAL AND BACK PANELS. The present invention consists of a surf vest (10) for surfing waves without a board, generally made of a hydrophobic material such as neoprene, having at least one side zip (13), a head opening (11), and two arm openings (12) to facilitate putting it on the user's torso. Its ventral panel (14) carries, either fixedly or removablely and interchangeably, a glide assembly (20) comprising a glide pad (21), and its back panel carries, either fixedly or removablely and interchangeably, two shoulder pads (31) and (32) and a lumbar pad (33) of a back glide assembly (30). The gliding pads (21) (31) (32) (33) are hollow and can hold a floating solid material such as polyurethane foam, a gas such as air or CO2, or a liquid such as water. The abstract figure is: FIG 1
