Abstract
The present invention relates to an article (1) made of chainmail fabric adapted for protecting a part of a user's body, comprising a chainmail panel (2) equipped with a fastening means (7, 8) cooperating with a longitudinal reinforcement member (9), which longitudinal reinforcement member (9) comprises a first reinforcement end (10) extending near said fastening means (9), this article (1) being characterized in that it comprises a free zone of interruption of the fastening means (12), provided opposite said first reinforcement end (10) of said longitudinal reinforcement member (9).
