Abstract
The present invention relates to a piece of luggage (100) comprising two metal half-shells, in particular made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, obtained by stamping, each half-shell being a single piece, having a base and a peripheral wall, defining an internal volume, and an upper edge corresponding to the peripheral edge of the peripheral wall. The upper edge receives a curved frame (10, 10’) having a flat portion bonded to an inner portion of the peripheral wall, near the upper edge. The curved frame (10, 10’) projects beyond the upper edge upwards, that is to say, in a direction opposite to the base. Abstract figure: Figure 3
