Hot air cooking appliance with integrated handles

Abstract

The invention relates to an electric cooking appliance (1) configured for cooking food, comprising a housing (2) including a receiving compartment (3), a cooking container (4) configured for receiving food to be cooked, and a front panel (6) including two side handles (8). The electric cooking appliance (1) further includes a hot air heating system configured for heating and cooking food according to at least one hot air cooking method. The side handles (8) each include a manipulation portion that is movable between a handling configuration and a resting configuration, the side handles (8) defining a lateral footprint in the resting configuration that is smaller than the lateral footprint of the side handles (8) in the handling configuration.
