Abstract

The invention relates to a brazing method for producing a heat exchanger from a bundle (50) of tubes with end surfaces, comprising a first brazing operation of a first material (1) onto the bundle (50) to form a first sacrificial layer of the first material (1), a second brazing operation of a second material (2) onto the bundle (50) and onto the first layer to form a second layer of the second material (2) at a predetermined non-zero distance from the end surfaces, a cooling step of the second layer to form a heat exchanger plate that secures the bundle (50), and a step of removing the first material (1) from the heat exchanger plate and the bundle (50). The invention also relates to brazing tooling for implementing the method and to a motor vehicle incorporating a heat exchanger thus produced. Figure 5
