Abstract
The tire (10) comprises a crown (12), sidewalls (30A, 30B), ribs (32A, 32B), an internal surface (34) defining a toroidal cavity (36), and a stiffening structure (52) extending into the toroidal cavity (36) from a sidewall (30A) and/or rib (32A) to at least the crown (12), being anchored in the sidewall (30A) and/or rib and/or crown. The tire (10) comprises a protective element (60A, 60B, 62A, 62B) interposed between the stiffening structure and a reinforcing structure (38A, 38B, 44A, 44B), the protective element (64) comprising at least one wire reinforcing element (66).
