Abstract
A cellular battery assembly (EB) equips a vehicle (V) and includes a charging circuit (CR) that can be coupled to a first charging source providing a first charging current characteristic of a first charging mode. The EB also includes a tray (BB) housing cellular modules (MC) and comprising: - a first electrical connector (CE1) coupled to the charging circuit (CR) and the cellular modules (MC) to supply them with a second continuous charging current during charging in the first mode, and - a housing (LB) equipped with a second electrical connector (CE2) and housing a charging unit (BR) that can receive a third charging current characteristic of a second charging mode from a second charging source. This second charging unit (CE2) supplies a second continuous charging current, derived from the third charging current, to the second electrical connector (CE2) so that it can power the cellular modules (MC) during charging in the second mode.
