Abstract
Fan section in which an axial chord parameter, corresponding to the ratio of the product of the mean axial chord and the root axial chord to the product of the blade height (47) and the tip axial chord, is less than or equal to a velocity parameter, corresponding to the difference between the product of the tip peripheral velocity (expressed in m/s) and the value 3.243 x 10⁻³ s/m and the value 8.3411 x 10⁻¹, the fan section being configured so that the fan rotor has a maximum permissible speed greater than or equal to 280 rad/s.
