Abstract

The invention relates to a heating appliance (1) comprising a frame, having a front panel portion of the appliance (1), and a human-machine interface (21) for user control of the heating appliance's operation (1). The human-machine interface (21) is positioned, or capable of being positioned, laterally, projecting laterally from one of the two vertical sides, namely the right or left side, of the front panel portion, so as to be visible and accessible to the user. The invention is characterized in that the human-machine interface (21) is pivotally mounted relative to the front panel portion about a pivot axis (X) that is horizontal and parallel to the mean vertical plane of the front panel portion.
