Abstract
The invention relates to a method for adapting a vehicle navigation function capable of determining an initial route to a destination, comprising, upon detection (202; 203) that the vehicle's range is below a predefined threshold, controlling a touchscreen of the vehicle to display a control interface for the navigation function in a predefined format. Upon detection (205) of a first touch input on the displayed control interface, the method comprises determining (207) a charging station selection criterion based on the type of touch input of the first touch input, and selecting (208) at least one charging station based on the determined selection criterion, for adapting the initial route.
