Abstract
A leak detection method in which the pressure inside the object under test (A) is lowered, a measurement signal of a tracer gas, representative of the flow or concentration of a gaseous species present in the environment surrounding the object under test (A), is monitored, and a decrease in the measurement signal of the tracer gas is sought to detect the presence of a leak in the object under test (A).
