FR-3168287-A1 - Optical system for acquiring images of a scene
Abstract
Optical System for Acquiring Images of a Scene The present invention relates to an optical system (10) for acquiring images of a scene, comprising: a first optical channel (12) for providing a first optical flux from the scene viewed from a first field of view, a second optical channel (14) for providing a second optical flux from the scene viewed from a second field of view having a dimension smaller than the first field of view, a polarizing splitter (16) for recombining a portion of the first optical flux in a first polarization state with a portion of the second optical flux in a second polarization state to form a recombined optical flux, a sensor (18) for capturing the recombined optical flux, and a polarizer array (20) positioned in the plane of the sensor (18).
