Abstract
Battery module comprising an array of accumulators mechanically joined together by wires or metallic ribbons, individually welded between points. The invention relates to a battery module (M) comprising: - a plurality of accumulators (A1, A2…A18), each accumulator being in rigid packaging in the form of an electrically conductive casing (6) whose lateral casing (7) is connected to one of the output terminals (4 or 5); - at least one wire (10) or metallic ribbon, referred to as the fastening wire, welded at at least two points directly onto two lateral casings (7) of separate accumulator casings or onto two metallic elements attached to said lateral casings while being electrically insulated from them, so as to mechanically assemble the plurality of accumulators by mutually attaching them and, where applicable, to establish at least one electrical connection between them.
