Abstract
The invention relates to an electric or hybrid vehicle and a method for propelling the vehicle. The vehicle comprises an asynchronous motor having a single stator (30) with a predetermined number of magnetic pole pairs, the stator (30) being configured to transmit motion to a first rotor and a second rotor comprising a first shaft (21) and a second shaft (22), respectively. The method includes a step for calculating an electric current amplitude value and an electric pulse value based on predetermined maps using a first predetermined torque value for the first shaft (21), a second predetermined torque value for the second shaft (22), a first measured rotational speed value of the first rotor, a second measured rotational speed value of the second rotor, and the predetermined number of magnetic pole pairs of the stator (30).
