GB-2644652-A - A haircare appliance
Abstract
A haircare appliance 12 includes an air inlet 32, an air outlet (64, fig.4) and a channel between the air inlet and the air outlet. The haircare appliance includes an airflow generator 22 for generating an airflow from the air inlet to the air outlet through the channel and an occlusion 68 located upstream of the air outlet within the channel. The occlusion is movable between a first position within the channel, and a second position within the channel different to the first position within the channel. A flow divider 70 is provided to divide airflow through the channel into first and second airflow portions. The haircare appliance is configured to cause recombination of the first and second airflow portions downstream of the occlusion, preferably by shaping a portion of the channel to be convergent towards the outlet or including a recombination surface 72. The occlusion may be rotatable in the channel at a rate of no more than 600rpm. A drive motor 30 may drive the movement of the occlusion in the channel.
