Abstract

The present invention relates to a bio-functional milk characterized in that its content of Ω-3 fats is at least 0.45%, its content of Ω-6 fats is 2.38 (± 0.12)%, its content of Polyunsaturated fatsis 3.03 (± 0.18) % and its content of monounsaturated fats is 27.02 (± 1.29) %. The values given are averages (± standard error). The method of producing bio-functional milk consists of administering a ration for a period of at least 4-6 weeks and throughout the duration of milk production, which ration contains the following per ton of feed: a) oregano essential oil, b) dried oregano, c) driedsage, d) polyunsaturated fatty acids, e) rosemary, f) chamomile, g) lemon balm, h) thyme, i) fennel and j) Oilseeds.
