V-TYPE CHOKE FOR FLEXIBLE FIRE FIGHTING HOSES

Abstract

The present invention relates to a V-type choke which is adapted to flexible fire-fighting hoses with the purpose of stopping the flow of water therein. It consists of two galvanized legs (1) and (2). The flow of water stops, as long as it is necessary, by putting the flexible fire-fighting hose inside said legs and tightening them. With the help of the existing screw (5) with butterfly (6) and the existing notches, the choke can remain closed, without the operator΄s constant holding. It is light, economical, easy to use and does not wear out easily. It can easily be used in other applications, for the temporary or continuous stopping of leakage, in flexible hoses. In addition to the loop it has for hanging, the invented choke can also be placed in a case or bag for even easier transportand storage.
