Abstract
The present invention relates to a multi-stage biological wastewater treatment system characterized by a capacity of one thousand population equivalents. Said system can be constructed both in reinforced concrete tanks and in the form of prefabricated metal tanks of prefabricated and compact technology, with the relevant electromechanical equipment pre-installed (Figure 1, Figure 2). The present invention has tanks made of reinforced concrete which are divided into above-ground and underground sections. The above-ground sections (Figure 1, A) (those of the first level) can be prefabricated and stainless. The present invention features compact technology offering the possibility of prefabrication and consequently movement of the tanks and other installations of the wastewater treatment unit; it also features smaller installations for the biological treatment of wastewater.
