SMALL-SIZED OVEN WITH INTEGRATED TUBULAR MIXER FOR CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF CONSTANT CONCENTRATIONS OF VAPORS OF CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS

Abstract

The technical field of the invention is devices and methods for calibrating chemical detectors, analyzers and sensors of liquid and solid vapors. The purpose of this invention is to construct an oven suitable for use by a calibration device that will be used inside and outside the laboratory in the field. The small-sized oven (1) with integrated tubular mixer (14) allows for stable, very fast, high-precision and homogeneous heating. Due to its small shape and weight and low energy consumption, it has the ability to create devices that can be used in the field (outside the laboratory) as hand-held calibrators for calibrating chemical detectors, analyzers and sensors of volatile organic compounds. Also, due to special treatment of the inner surface of the single system, this is inert to chemicals. Typical applications are the calibration devices of chemical detectors and analyzers such as photoionization, ion mobility spectrometers and mass spectrometers.
