Abstract
A ventilated chair, primarily for classroom use, comprising a metal frame structure (1) under a seat (2b), a biodegradable plastic seat cover (2) is attached to the frame structure (1) by means of a detachable fastening element (4), characterized in that air channels (7) are formed in the backrest (2a) and seat (2b) of the seat cover (2) that are open towards the seating area (2c) and connected to the seat (2b) and backrest (2a) by a curved edge (7a).
