PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A SULPHUR SUSPENSION BY SPUTTERING MOLTEN SULPHUR

Abstract

The invention relates to the production of a sulphur suspension, in which molten sulphur is atomized and the resulting atomized sulphur droplets are absorbed in a dispersion medium, where the generation of the atomized sulphur droplets is separated in space and time from their absorption. The invention extends to the produced sulphur suspension, as well as to the atomizing suspending apparatus used for the production and to the flying saucer used therein.
