Abstract

The invention relates to new honey products containing fruit and/or vegetable powders with an increased polyphenol content and a minimum shelf life of 1 year and to their production. The product comprises 2-20% by weight of fruit and/or vegetable powders with a moisture content of 2-20% by weight and a particle size of 0.2-0.8 mm. The powders are obtained from naturally polyphenol-containing fruit and/or vegetable juices. The product optionally contains 2-20% by weight of maltodextrin or modified starch additives. The fruit and/or vegetable powders are uniformly mixed with honey, in an amount of 2-20% by weight of the product.
