Description

Firstly, the inventors discovered that the stability of daptomycin can be improved in certain daptomycin compositions by the presence of divalent metal ions. As shown in Example 1, both calcium chloride and magnesium chloride improved the stability of daptomycin, with calcium chloride showing the greatest effect.
