Description

As described above, an electrode support portion 2121 is provided on the tip side of the second curler portion 212 of the curler 210, and the electrode support portion 2121 does not have a compression cuff 220 on the inside. Figure 6(A) is a perspective view of the bio-information measuring device 1 as seen from the outside of the electrode support portion 2121, and Figure 6(B) is a cross-sectional view of the portion enclosed by the dashed line in Figure 6(A) as seen from a direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction. The second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are arranged inside this electrode support portion 2121. The second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are made of a conductive material such as stainless steel, and each has a substantially semicircular cross-section perpendicular to the circumferential direction and a shape obtained by dividing an oval shape in two in the circumferential direction, and are arranged at a predetermined interval in a direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction. As shown in Figure 6(A), the FPC 300 is arranged along the second curler portion 212 of the curler 210, from the main body portion 100 toward the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242. The circumferential ends of the FPC 300 (in the direction of extension of the second colorer portion 212) are connected to the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 by leaf spring- shaped contact pins 310 and 320, respectively. Figure 7(A) is a diagram showing a part of the internal structure of the main body 100 as viewed from the front of the display unit 111 of the biological information measuring device 1, and Figure 7(B) is a diagram showing the connection structure between the substrate 160 and the FPC 300 in a cross-section passing through the centers of the pogo pins 161 and 162. As shown in Figures 7(A) and 7(B), the substrate 160 housed inside the main body 100 and the FPC 300 are electrically connected by pogo pins 161 and 162. In Figures 6(A), 6(B), 7(A), and 7(B), unnecessary components have been omitted as appropriate. As explained with reference to Figure 5(A), in this embodiment, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are positioned beyond the tip portion 220b in the circumferential direction (extension direction of the second curler portion 212) of the compression cuff 220, and at a predetermined distance from the tip portion 220b. The belt portion 400 is wrapped around the wrist T on the outer circumference side of the curler 210, the belt loop portion 150 is inserted, and it is secured with the hook-and-loop fastener 411. Figure 5(A) shows the state before the compression cuff 220 is inflated, and Figure 5(B) shows the state after the compression cuff 220 has been inflated. When the compression cuff 220, which is positioned on the inside, is inflated in this way, the C-shaped curler 210 is pushed open and moves to the outer diameter side. However, in the bio-information measuring device 1 according to this embodiment, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are provided on an electrode support portion 2121 that extends beyond the tip portion 220b in the circumferential direction (extension direction of the second collar portion 212) of the expanding compression cuff 220. Therefore, even if the base end portion 2121a of the electrode support portion 2121 moves outward as the compression cuff 220 expands, the movement and posture change of the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242, which are provided at a predetermined distance from this base end portion 2121a, are limited to a predetermined range, thus suppressing changes in the contact state between the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 and the wrist T. Here, changes in the contact state refer to changes in the contact position, contact angle, contact area, etc. between the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 and the wrist T. In Figures 5 (A) and (B), the compression cuff 220 is positioned on the inside of the tip portion 211a of the first curler portion 211 of the curler 210, outside the electrode support portion 2121 of the curler 210. As a result, the expansion of the compression cuff 220 presses the electrode support portion 2121 inward. This inward pressure from the compression cuff 220 also increases the contact pressure between the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 and the wrist T, thus further suppressing changes in the contact state between the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 and the wrist T. Depending on the thickness of the wrist T, the tip 220a of the compression cuff 220 in the circumferential direction (the extension direction of the first curler portion 211) may not reach the outer diameter side of the electrode support portion 2121. However, even in such cases, the belt portion 400 wrapped around the wrist T suppresses movement toward the outer diameter side of the electrode support po
