Description
According to this method for estimating the strength of chemically treated soil, a soil test is performed using a sample taken from the site to be improved. The surface area of soil particles per unit volume is determined from this soil test, and in addition to considering the homogel strength of the chemical solution, the particle size and density of the soil particles in the site are considered using the surface area of soil particles per unit volume. This allows for an accurate estimation of the strength of the chemically treated soil when the site's soil and the chemical solution are mixed. This method for estimating the strength of chemically treated soil is completely different from the strength estimation methods described in Patent Documents 1 and 2.
