Description
To address this objective, a hybrid resin composition for 3D printing of objects is provided, comprising polymerization components A, B, and C (and optionally D). The resin composition is A reactive diluent (RD), also called a reactive diluent, is a monofunctional photocurable component having formula (I), comprising a reactive species Y that readily undergoes radical polymerization or cationic polymerization, and a side group X, wherein component A forms a polymer skeleton upon photo-induced curing, and the skeleton preferably has a Tg of over 25°C, and component A, X-Y formula (I) Component B is at least one monofunctional or polyfunctional photocurable component that copolymerizes with component A via a corresponding curing mechanism, has a molecular weight greater than 500 gmol⁻¹ , functions as a toughness modifier (TNM), preferably has an elongation at break greater than 10%, and forms a polymerization network having a Tg greater than 0°C. The material comprises component C, which is at least one monofunctional or polyfunctional thermosetting component, preferably forming a second polymerization network having a Tg of over 100°C and functioning as a Tg enhancer ( Tg -enhancer, TGE), Optionally, a portion of the photocurable component B may be replaced by a photocurable crosslinking component D, also called a crosslinking agent (CA), which copolymerizes with components A and B via a corresponding curing mechanism to improve processability. The amount of photocurable component A is in the range of 5% to 80% by weight, based on the total weight of components A, B, and C; the amount of photocurable component B is in the range of 10% to 90% by weight; the amount of thermosetting component C is in the range of 1% to 50% by weight; and optionally, the amount of crosslinking component D is in the range of 3% to 70% by weight, based on the total weight of components B and D. Although some aspects of the present invention may overlap with other descriptions, they are shown below. However, the present invention is not limited to the following.
